#ALDbingo Fall Challenge Edition

It's time to play!

We had so much fun with the Summer Capsule Challenge, but sometimes a whole capsule can be too much! Especially this time of year!

So with this game, you can play as little or as much as you'd like and still have a chance to win each week. We've also added in a guaranteed grand prize!

Also don't forget there's the discount code for PDF Plotting - printing service for A0 size patterns! Check out the blog post for that code here.

How Do We Play?

Start by downloading the game board in the files section of the ALD Facebook Group.

Here's what it looks like!

Each square requires a separate entry. Though I know it's probably possible to blackout the whole board with just a couple of amazing sews, we're asking that each entry be for a single square. If your make fulfills more than one task, please choose which square you're applying it to.

The squares are a bit ambiguous so that you can show us what each theme means to you!

Weekly Prizes

Each square has a task or a theme to fulfill. Each time you complete a square, share to the ALD Facebook Group wall and use #ALDbingo.

Every Thursday starting today there will be a new "check in" post pinned in the Facebook group. Here you can comment reminding us of which square you fulfilled this week.

Each week has sponsors. If you used a sponsor's pattern for your make, include #BONUS in your comment and you'll get an extra entry! Here's a rundown of the weekly sponsors if you'd like to look ahead:

Week 1 August 15-22: Made by Runi, Seamingly Smitten

Week 2 August 22-29: George & Ginger, Sew A Little Seam

Week 3 August 29-September 5: 5 Out Of 4, Toby K

Week 4 September 5-12 : Do It Better Yourself Club, Toby K

Bingo and Blackout

To get a Bingo, sew four things and complete the no-sew activity in a the row to connect five squares. You can connect squares horizontally, vertically and diagonally.

Earning a bingo will get you entered into a drawing to win a grand prize! Each subsequent bingo will be another entry.

If you get a "blackout" meaning you do every single square on the bingo card, you'll win a grand prize automatically! No need to be in the drawing, it's a sure thing!

As you sew, enter each make onto the weekly thread to be entered to earn a weekly prize. Procrastinators will still be rewarded though! During the final days of the event, September 12 - September 15 there will be a thread to submit your Bingos and Blackouts! You can tally up your weekly entries into a bingo or black out, or submit new ones for your missing squares.

Throughout the next four weeks you can sew as few or as many things as you'd like. I can't wait to see what you make! Are you a planner? Are you going to plan out a bingo? Make a Fall or Back to School Capsule? Or just wing it and sew what inspires you when it inspires you? (I'm a touch of a free spirit but I want to be a planner!)

How about an sample?

Sonia sewed a Fall Capsule in ALD Fabrics! She's going to share each of these makes for a separate square and hopefully earn a bingo!

Here's the six things Sonia made (styled several ways):

1. Annelaine Coffee and Tea Cardigan (Sonia's afflink) in Navy Heavyweight Rayon Spandex - It has pockets! Checking off that square!

2. 5oo4 Jenny Cross Front Tunic in Painted Desert Sweater Knit - Great way to bundle up!

3. Ellie and Mac Urban Leggings (Sonia's afflink) in Black DBP - Looks like a Solid Coordinate to me!

4. Seamwork Ariane Cami Dress in Wine Double Brushed Poly - Sleeveless

5. George and Ginger Mix It Up (Sonia's Afflink) hacked to a crop top in Black ATY - Hack

6. Sinclair Demi Raglan (Sonia's afflink) in Charcoal Poly Cotton Lycra Athletic Fabric - Muted colors on this outfit

Let's see how this looks!

So with 6 Items Sonia has made a bingo and is onto her next! I wonder if she will black out the board before the end of the game?! Stay tuned!

This looks so fun. Off to download my board now and see what I can plan (clearly I'm a planner...).
