Hi everyone! I am so excited about this week's Thrifty Thursday, as it also kicks off the Season of Giving theme for the next two months. We'll be featuring patterns that are great for donating or gifting, and discounting the Amelia Lane Designs fabric that we used to sew them up.
This week's feature is the Fuchsia Dots Liverpool sewn up as a Gee Shirt from George and Ginger. Fuchsia Dots will be on sale for 30% off today only, and you can get the Gee Shirt for FREE by using the code in Kristi's G+G YouTube video.
The Gee Shirt is a super quick and cute basic tee with inset sleeves, and comes in sizes newborn through adult 5X.
I'm excited to start off the season of giving with this one, as Kristi of G+G asks that you make just one to donate somewhere. Being such a quick sew (and a great scrap buster in kid sizes), I'm hoping that I can make way more than that in the long run!
For now, I made a copy of this one I made for my niece. We will be donating it to one of the many great local places that help out families in need.
What other types of freebies would you like to see featured as part of our Season of Giving? Let us know here or over on my post in our Facebook Group!
