Amelia Lane Designs created this handy info sheet to help understand all the fabric bases!

Not just any swim solids either!

This week's new arrival collection is swim solids. These aren't your average swim solids! In typical Amelia Lane quality, these solids are Tricot fabric which offers 50+ UPF protection! It's thick too which makes it more comfortable to wear and easier to sew with!

Let's see what the Squad sewed up this week!

Heather used the teal color to make this Narwhal Swimsuit by Sofiona Patterns! It looks like it was a lot of detail work, but isn't it worth it? I love this one! It's so unique!

Sarah also used the teal color. She made a rash guard using the Bahama Mama Surfsuit pattern from Peekaboo. Here's Sarah's Afflink for that pattern. The UPF protection of this fabric means this rash guard will offer great protection during her time in the sun!

To go with it, she used the navy color swim solid to make the Ellie and Mac Oasis Swim Bottoms. So classic! Here's Sarah's afflink to the Oasis.

I intentionally put these photos next to each other so you can see the similarities and differences in the Teal color above sewn by Sarah and Heather compared to this Turquoise color sewn by Laura. The turquoise (here on Laura) is actually more blue while the teal is more green.

She self-drafted these swim bottoms based on an inspiration photo and made them with the solid black swim fabric.

This style would totally suit me! I love this inspiration!

Sonia used the Red swim fabric to make this Ellie and Mac ruched tee into a swim top! Here's her afflink. You can really see how nice and thick these swim fabrics are. Easy to work with and comfortable to wear!

Rosie used the Ellie and Mac Oasis Pattern for this classic red bikini! Here's their afflink for this pattern! This suit is absolutely essential and they're making me glad I bought this color for myself!

Gwen tested the new Annelaine Monarch kid's swimsuit pattern with the Marine color. This color is very minty! Here's Gwen's afflink for the Monarch - I think it's still on release sale too! Kids sizes up to 20!

Here's the hot coral color. Kendel had an idea in mind and she made it happen! She added a halter to the Lil Raggamuffin Bonnie dress and made it peplum length! It's just perfect! She paired it with Lea, an in-stock swim fabric from the early spring swim release. Here's Kendel's afflink if you want to check out the Bonnie!

Every week I look forward to seeing what this little is modeling! She has so much sass! Kendel made her a Pippa Swim Suit by Violette Fields so that they match in their hot coral and lea swimsuits!

Can't wait to see what these talented sewists have in store for next week! Yep! More coming next week!

All of these New Arrival fabrics (AND ALL OTHER SWIM AND NOTIONS!) are marked down on the website until Monday, June 3, 2019! No code needed ... but if you have one, say from the newsletter, you can stack that on top of the sale!
