Athleisure Collection Pattern Round Up

You know how exciting it is when Amelia Lane Designs releases a new pattern.... so it's through the roof exciting right now because there's FOUR NEW PATTERNS! All at once!

If you decided to read on, thank you! I'm going to talk about the collection and then I want to tell you about each pattern!


We're calling the collection the "Athleisure" collection. Meaning the patterns are suited for athletics or leisure purposes (spoiler alert, they're also a perfect canvas if you love to hack!). The entire collection is offered in ALD's size inclusive chart that includes sizes 00 -34.


All four patterns come with the features standard on all ALD patterns:

The Blade Tank is designed to be made with your favorite knit fabrics - Light-Midweight athletic/performance, Double or Single Brushed Polyester (DBP/SBP), French Terry, Heavyweight Rayon Spandex or Jersey - anything with at least 20% stretch and good recovery.

The Blade Tank features a keyhole accent and a built in sway back adjustment.

This tank has a stylish silhouette to put a bit of swing in the hips!

The Core Tee is designed to be made with your favorite knit fabrics - Double or Single Brushed Polyester (DBP/SBP), French Terry, Heavyweight Rayon Spandex or Jersey - anything with at least 20% stretch and good recovery.

The Core Tee features Viennese seams and has the following options:

  • Two sleeve length options - short or long

  • Optional kangaroo pocket

The Cadence Tights are designed to be made with your favorite knit fabrics - Mid to Heavyweight Athletic/Performance, Double or Single Brushed Polyester (DBP/SBP), Cotton/Lycra - anything with at least 20% stretch and good recovery.

The Cadence Tights offer the following options:

  • Three height options - Petite (5'0), Standard (5'6) and Tall (5'10)

  • Two Views in multiple lengths

    • View A - Seamless outer leg in 6 lengths

      • Full

      • 7/8

      • 3/4

      • Capri

      • Shorts

      • Shorties

    • View B - Paneled outer leg in 5 lengths with optional side pocket

The Relay Shorts are designed to be made with your favorite knit fabrics - Athletic/Performance knits, Double or Single Brushed Polyester (DBP/SBP), French Terry, Stretch Woven - anything with at least 20% stretch and good recovery. The multiple binding options make finishing the legs a breeze!

The Relay Shorts have the following options:

  • 3 length options - short, mid, or long

  • 2 waistband heights - tall and narrow

  • Optional waistband or side pocket
