Exciting New Fabrics Perfect for Summer!

See what our talented sewists were inspired to make!

NEW BASE: RAYON CHALLIS

Rayon Challis is a lightweight woven material perfect for dresses, tops, kimonos.

Sonia made the Ogden Cami by True Bias from Juniper Rayon Challis. She's beautiful in everything she makes, but this top pops!

Sonia is Rayon Challis crazy and also whipped up Simplicity 8513 with Clearwater Rayon Challis. Clearwater is a true tie-dye pattern, we haven't found a repeat in the design yet!

Kendel made this Greenstyle Creations Havana Dress from the Joplin Rayon Challis! I love how the same fabric and same pattern can look so different to match our different personalities! Love this look, Kendel!

Jody made this beautiful Havana dress by Greenstyle Creations with the Fallon Rayon Challis. Flowy dresses are perfect for rayon challis, so cool and comfortable for summer!

Speaking of the Fallon Rayon Challis, Sarah made the Lyric Dress by Love Notions with this fabric. She plans to wear it to a wedding this summer. I love this dress! She can dress it up or down with shoes and jewelry, but it's fancy but comfortable!

Here is Sarah's affiliate link for the Lyric Dress.

If you've gotten to know Sarah at all lately, you may have noticed that she usually leans towards the athletic makes. Rayon Challis can do that too! She made the Bella Sunshine Tulip Shorts from the Waverly Rayon Challis.

Kelle made a Songbird dress by Striped Swallow using the Leona Rayon Challis. This dress is so sweet! Rayon Challis lends itself to ruffles, gathers and trim so well!

HOW ABOUT A SURPRISE?

On the Facebook Live reveal Mya surprised us with Inspired Bundles! These bundles have 4.5 yards of fabric - they're perfect for making a color blocked top with circlular knit leggings. Circular Knit makes the best leggings! The color block top that originally inspired this bundle is the Ellie and Mac Autumn Spice.

The bundle comes in three colors: Mint, Light Blue and Blush.

Laura used the Ellie and Mac Autumn Spice Top and Sinclair Penny Leggings for her Inspired Bundle in Blush!

Surprising fact: Laura hadn't sewn leggings for herself! But the circular knit has won her over!

Here's Laura's affiliate link for the Autumn Spice Top and Penny Leggings.

Another take on blush! Kayleigh colorblocked the Green Tee by Greenstyle! This bundle comes with 1 yard of each of the three top fabrics and 1.5 yards of the circular knit, which means there are so many ways you can put the fabrics together!

Gwen was inspired to add colorblocking to the 5oo4 Nancy Raglan. I love the strip of white to accent the raglan seams! What a clever way to put these fabrics together!

Gwen opted for the mint bundle with charcoal circular knit. You can choose charcoal or black circular knit with the bundle, just indicate your selection in the notes. If you don't have a preference, we'll choose for you!

Brittanie also chose the mint bundle, but with charcoal circular knit leggings. She used the Ellie and Mac Autumn Spice Pattern for her top. I love how cool and casual she makes this look!

Jess also used the Ellie and Mac Autumn Spice pattern. She used the light blue bundle. I think this might be my favorite color, but I love them all! Which color do you like best?

The stocking isn't over yet!

Berry Liverpool is already a big hit! Now we're getting Blueberry! This blue gingam liverpool is adorable. Especially on these two!

Andrea used the blueberry liverpool to make this Alice Dress from Violet Fields Threads and Elton/Amber vest by Made for Mermaids. The Alice Dress skirt is Juniper Rayon Challis.

These two, I just can't get over this photo! So perfect!

More cuteness! This photo is almost too much cute!

Annelaine Lexington Dresses with Layla Shorts in Blueberry Liverpool and Sterling liverpool fabrics sewn up by Kendel. Sterling is another colorway of the popular Grayson liverpool!

Here is Kendel's affiliate link for Lexington and Layla patterns.
